The Brand
BEEST turned zero-sugar beef into a crisp, protein-rich chip. The brand is built around constant flavor releases, national media exposure and retail buyer pitches, so new SKUs come out faster than most snack brands can plan them. The pouch also carries a clear display window, because the texture of the chip is the argument and shoppers have to see it.
The Challenge
That release cycle needs a packaging supply chain that can keep up with it, and the standard one cannot. Traditional flexible packaging runs 12 to 16 weeks with high minimum order quantities, so committing to 10,000 units per SKU and paying upfront plate fees puts inventory risk on every new flavor before a single buyer has seen it. The window adds a second problem on top: a clear display area has to be opened without compromising the moisture and oxygen barrier that keeps the product crisp.

The Solution
For the structure, we used a transparent high-barrier film paired with selective white ink printing, which keeps the window area clear while maintaining barrier protection across the entire pouch body. For the timeline, we moved to an agile digital printing workflow: low-MOQ test runs starting at 100 units per SKU, with zero plate costs.

The Result
We turned artwork into press-run physical samples within 14 days, cutting months off the standard industry cycle. BEEST can test new concepts with real, shelf-ready pouches in buyers' hands, gather feedback, and scale production volume only after securing retail interest.
“Dylign let us test new flavors in real packaging before scaling.”
