PCR Material can be added to eligible Classic and Recyclable structures. Our PCR Material option uses an 80 μm PE layer containing 50% post-consumer recycled content. It is not currently available with Compostable packaging, and availability may depend on the pouch format, product type, filled weight, and required performance.

Dylign offers Standard, Pocket, and Powder-Proof Zippers. A Standard Zipper is ideal for everyday resealing, a Pocket Zipper offers a clean, premium opening experience, and a Powder-Proof Zipper is designed for fine or dusty products.

Our PCR Material option is best suited for lightweight dry products such as coffee, snacks, powders, and dry pet food, with a recommended filled weight of up to 1 kg. It is not recommended for liquids or heavy-duty applications. Product composition, filling conditions, storage, and performance requirements are reviewed before the structure is finalized.

Post-consumer recycled, or PCR, material is plastic recovered after consumer use and processed for use in new products. Our PCR PE layer contains 50% post-consumer recycled material, and eligible finished pouch structures contain approximately 30% PCR by total package weight. The final percentage varies based on the selected structure and components and can be confirmed for the final pouch specification. This reduces the amount of virgin plastic required and supports greater circular use of plastic materials.

It depends on your product: oils, strong aromas, and moisture-sensitive contents usually need High Barrier.

Choose based on your product weight, the stability you need, and usable capacity. A U-Seal (Doyen Seal) has a rounded base and works well for lighter products. A K-Seal uses angled seals plus a bottom seal for greater stability, making it a good fit for heavier or denser fills such as coffee, pet treats, and protein powders. A Plow Bottom also uses angled seals but has no bottom seal, providing more usable capacity.

Our pouch packaging lines are built for food applications, and we confirm compliance documentation for your specific product during setup.

The PCR Material option is available for eligible dry-food packaging applications. Suitability depends on the specific material structure, product type, filling and storage conditions, and applicable food-contact requirements. We review the final application and available documentation before production.

Not necessarily. PCR content refers to the source of part of the material, while recyclability depends on the complete pouch structure. Classic packaging with PCR remains a multilayer structure and is not recyclable. Our Recyclable option uses a mono-PE-based structure designed for PE recycling streams and can also be configured with PCR content. Actual acceptance varies by location, recycling program, and final package specification.

The PCR PE layer contains 50% post-consumer recycled content by weight. Because this layer is only one part of the complete pouch, the total PCR percentage by package weight varies based on the selected structure, finish, inks, adhesives, zipper, and other components. We can confirm the estimated total PCR content for the final pouch specification upon request.

As secondary packaging, yes; for direct food contact, we recommend pairing it with our pouch line.

Screen colors, RGB, always look more vibrant than printed colors, CMYK or Pantone, so if color is critical, approve a physical sample before production.
