Yes. Your sample is produced using the same machine setup, material structure, lamination, and artwork standards as the bulk order. Once the sample and proof are approved, bulk production follows those exact approved specifications, with only minor batch variations possible.
A Standard Zipper is a familiar choice for everyday resealing. For fine or dusty products, a Powder-Proof Zipper helps the pouch open and reclose more smoothly.
Classic metallized film offers the strongest protection and suits the longest shelf-life requirements, ideal for coffee, powders, supplements, and other freshness-sensitive products. Recyclable PE film with an EVOH barrier works well for most dry foods and snacks. Compostable film typically supports a shelf life of around 6 to 12 months depending on the product and storage conditions.
Custom stand up pouches range from small snack and sample sizes to larger bulk fills, with common options at 4oz, 8oz, 12oz, 1lb, and 2lb. You can also set a custom size in the design tool to match your exact product, from coffee and tea to nuts, snacks, powders, and pet treats.
You can set the seal width to Narrow, Standard, or Wide. Narrow is 5mm, Standard is 6mm, and Wide is 7.5mm. Standard works for most products, Narrow gives a more minimal edge, and Wide is a wider, more durable seal for heavier fills. Match it to your product weight and the look you want.
The PCR Material option is best suited for lightweight dry products such as coffee, snacks, powders, and dry pet food, with a recommended filled weight of up to 1 kg. It is not recommended for liquids or heavy-duty applications. Final suitability depends on the product, filling conditions, and packaging requirements.
PCR stands for post-consumer recycled. Our PCR Material option replaces the standard PE layer with an 80 μm PE layer containing 50% post-consumer recycled content, helping reduce the use of virgin plastic. It is available with eligible Classic and Recyclable structures. Eligible pouch structures contain approximately 30% PCR by total finished-package weight. The final percentage varies based on the selected structure and components and can be confirmed for the final pouch specification.
Our minimum order starts at 100 units, suitable for first launches, market tests, limited drops, and small-batch product lines, with wholesale and bulk pricing as volumes grow. Larger quantities lower your unit cost, and you can see the savings at each tier as you configure your order.
Lamination sets the surface look and feel of your finished pouch. Matte gives a smooth, low-glare finish. Gloss gives a shiny, vibrant finish. Soft Touch gives a velvety, premium feel. Matte, Gloss, and Soft Touch are all available on Classic film; Recyclable offers Matte and Gloss; Compostable comes in natural or white kraft only.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or does not match the approved proof, contact us within 24h of delivery and we will review it and make it right.
Price is determined by pouch size, order quantity, material type, barrier level, lamination, decorative finishes, and shipping speed. Larger quantities lower the unit cost, while High Barrier and expedited shipping add to it. The landed price updates live as you configure your order so there are no surprises.
Choose based on your product weight, the stability you need, and usable capacity. A Doyen has a rounded base and works well for lighter products. A K-Seal uses angled seals plus a bottom seal for greater stability, making it a good fit for heavier or denser fills such as coffee, pet treats, and protein powders. A Plow Bottom also uses angled seals but has no bottom seal, providing more usable capacity.
Add a clear or frosted window if seeing the product helps customers decide to buy. A stand up pouch with a window works especially well for cookies, granola, dried fruit, candy, tea, colorful snacks, and pet treats. Skip it if your product is light-sensitive or if you want a printed, premium look across the entire surface.
Standard production takes 7 to 12 business days after proof approval. Shipping time then depends on the tier you choose: Express is the fastest at around one week, with Priority, Standard, and Economy available at lower cost and longer transit times. Exact timelines are shown as you configure your order.
Fine powders can enter standard zipper tracks. A Powder-Proof Zipper is designed to keep opening and closing smoothly when particles reach the zipper area. It works well for protein powders, supplements, flour, spices, drink mixes, and similar products.
Match the barrier to how sensitive your product is. For dry, low-sensitivity goods like tea or sample packs, a standard barrier is usually sufficient. For products sensitive to moisture, oxygen, light, or aroma loss, such as coffee, supplements, and powders, enable High Barrier, which adds a foil layer for the strongest protection. Simple rule: the more sensitive the product, the higher the barrier should be.
Start with what matters most. Classic is a metallized (mylar-style) film with the strongest moisture and oxygen barrier, the safest choice for sensitive or premium products like coffee, snacks, powders, and pet treats. For the most demanding products, Classic High Barrier adds an aluminum foil layer for even stronger protection. Choose Recyclable if a recycling-friendly direction matters to your brand: it is a mono-material PE film with an EVOH barrier, designed for the PE recycling stream. Choose Compostable kraft if compostability and sustainability storytelling matter most: it uses kraft and PLA for products with lighter protection needs.
The 3D preview is a true-to-spec representation of your size, material, lamination, and artwork, and it is a reliable guide for making decisions. Small differences in color, texture, and finish can still appear on the physical pouch, which is why ordering a custom sample is the best way to confirm the exact look and feel before a full production run.
We match your colors to spec using CMYK and Pantone references, so your brand colors print consistently across runs. Screens and physical print can still differ slightly, so if exact color accuracy is critical, a custom sample is the best way to confirm results before a full order.
Not necessarily. PCR describes the recycled content used in the pouch, not whether the finished package can be recycled. Classic pouches with PCR remain multilayer packaging and are not recyclable. For a structure designed for PE recycling streams, choose the Recyclable material option and enable With PCR. Actual acceptance varies by location and recycling program.
Yes, for freshly roasted coffee. Freshly roasted beans release CO2 after roasting, and a one-way valve lets that gas escape while helping reduce the air that gets back into the pouch. If your product does not release gas after packaging, a valve is not necessary.
A resealable zipper is worth adding for any product customers will open and reseal multiple times. Coffee, tea, snacks, granola, pet treats, supplements, and powders all benefit from a resealable, ziplock-style zipper. For single-use or one-time-open products, a zipper may not be necessary.
Yes. The 3D preview shows your actual pouch with your selected size, material, lamination, and artwork applied, so you can rotate it and review the finished look before you commit.
Yes. Your approved designs are saved to your account, so you can reorder in one click without rebuilding or re-proofing. Repeat runs follow your locked specs and artwork, and pricing reflects the quantity and options you choose for the new run.
Yes. A custom sample is made with the same material, printing, and lamination as your final order, so you can check the real pouch before committing to a full run. It arrives in about two weeks, and you also receive 10 white-background product photos around Day 10, so you can start marketing before the sample even arrives.
Yes. You can use the design tool to build your pouch structure and configure your options before uploading artwork. If you already have a dieline or finished artwork, you can upload it directly. The tool is built so you can move forward without needing to understand every technical file requirement first.
Yes. Beyond lamination, you can add decorative finishes to make specific areas stand out. Spot UV adds a glossy highlight to selected areas like your logo. Hot Foil adds a metallic shine. These finishes are visual enhancements and do not affect the pouch structure or barrier protection.
Yes. A tear notch is a small cut at the seal that lets customers tear the pouch open cleanly by hand, with no scissors needed. It pairs well with a resealable zipper: tear the top once to open, then reseal with the zipper.
Yes. You can add a Round Hang Hole or a Euro Hang Hole so the pouch hangs cleanly on a retail peg or display strip. It is a useful detail for grab-and-go items and any product merchandised on a hook rather than a shelf.
Yes. Compostable pouches are available in both natural kraft and white kraft, so you are not limited to the natural brown look. For full-coverage printing, a gloss finish, or a metallic effect, Classic or Recyclable structures give you a wider range of options.
Yes. The inner layers are designed to meet FDA food-contact requirements, and ink is printed outside the food-contact surface, away from your product. FDA food-contact compliance documentation is available in the Product Details section.
